Another opportunity to show God’s love in our neighborhood is coming up this week: the Love Kitchen, serving the poor in Inwood and Washington Heights, is having its annual Christmas Banquet this Saturday, where they serve a dinner to 400 people. It’s a big event so they’ll need all kinds of help, including security, clothing sorting and distribution, toy distribution, child care, food service, setup, and more.

When: Saturday, December 12, between 12-8pm (you don’t have to come for the whole time, just whenever you’re available).

NYC SALT, one of the Heights MC’s partners, is a nonprofit photography program serving inner city teenagers in New York City.

On Thursday, December 10, at 8:00 p.m., NYC SALT will be hosting their Christmas Party.  We have an opportunity to help make this happen.
